falafel /fava bean falafel recipe vegetarian


Falafel is a simple and wonderful food. Simple to prepare this recipe, called falafel. It is a fried ball made of chickpeas or dried fava beans, or a combo of both.They are usually served with pitta of bread, garnished with salads, and sauces.Use your imagination, cook and enjoy!



250 grams fava beans

2 cloves garlic

1 small onion, quartered

1 teaspoon ground cumin

3 tablespoon chopped parsley and cilantro


1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 Baking powder

Neutral oil, like  corn, for frying


–  Place Fava Beans in bowel cover with water.Soak for several hours (all night), adding water if  needed to keep the beans submerged

-When the beans are drenched, rinsed, add the constituents together: Onion, quartered, cloves garlic,  parsley, and cilantro.

-Put into a bowl, Mix spices into the combination, blend with a fork until it’s evenly dispersed through the mixture. leave in the refrigerator for30 minutes and continue with a frying

-let them drain on paper towels.

Serve   with chopped tomatoes, cucumbers or lettuce
